I'm a hardcore knife junkie. I collect and use/EDC every type and style of knife. From slip joints, lock backs, autos, flippers, fixed blades, vintage, modern, 1056 to M390 steels, production, custom, big or small. I love knives and the Benchmade 756 MPR does not disappoint.
The fit and finish are absolutely perfect, lock up is superb, materials are top-notch. I absolutely love the blade design on this one and it is surprisingly for its size user-friendly and its 20CV blade steel. I've seen some people comment who obviously don't own the knife say that the blade is too short stubby and blade stock is too thick for it to be a good slicer, I couldn't disagree more it's none of those things. It's a great slicer and it's a great blade shape for EDC. The thing you have to remember and if we're honest with ourselves and EDC we really don't need a huge, I hate to use the term "tactical" but tactical folder and we don't need and extremely thin blade knife all the time to do slicing. So I think the 756 does what it was designed to do, be a fun, compact, unique folder that is capable of handling daily EDC task. The thing you're getting with this knife is the designer, Sibert knives go for four times as much if not five times this much so you're getting one of his designs and honestly it's not that much of a step down from one of his custom knives. I've talked with him personally about this knife and I've seen a lot of reviews that go on to say Benchmade should have had ceramic bearings instead of stainless. What he said was that he uses stainless in his knives simply because he can't tell a real difference in using ceramic versus stainless. I cannot recommend this knife enough if your a true knife junkie it's a must have. The one thing I've noticed about this knife is I can't stop carrying it. It's fun to fidget with it's fun to use and it carries phenomenally. The pocket clip is perfect in my opinion. A lot of milled clips usually are too stiff and can't really be used except with certain clothing but this clip is almost perfect.

RECAP:

Phenomenal design and designer.

20CV Super Steel blade.

Titanium construction with custom Titanium hardware.

Small easy to carry easy to use EDC blade.

It's a flipper.

Benchmade Warranty.

It's just a fun knife that everyone I know loves and everyone who sees it wants.

I definitely recommend this knife to everyone, from the novice to the hardcore knife junkie to the "Oh dear God dont cut, carry, use or get a single scratch or mark on it" Safe Queen Collectors.
