Shane Sibert designed this heavy-duty fixed blade for Benchmade. The Arvensis is a big knife that has a "light hand feel". The nearly 6.5" blade has a pronounced clip point profile and includes a large choil for choking up on. Contoured black G-10 scales are fastened to the full-tang 154CM steel blade with tube pins and straddle the fine line of comfortable grip. The Arvensis includes a Boltaron sheath with an innovative attachment feature.

This listing is for the Arvensis 119, which has a satin blade with a plain cutting edge.

This is a well made, sexy looking knife. I purchased it for camping. It's got a good weight and heft to it that'll make it ideal for chopping. It's also designed to grip up for smaller tasks. One thing that stood out to me is the thickness at the tip of the blade. It's thicker than many I've seen so it could work well for prying, etcetera without snapping. It is a good in between size... not overly large yet not small. The sheath seems to be good quality. I think it's well worth the price!
Amazing deal!

I can truly not imagine getting more high quality knife for the $, or double the $ for that matter. I needed a hefty stainless fixed blade for use in long multi-day river trips. I set up camp, process fish, process wood for fires, might need to chop a bit, might have to whittle a bit, and need it in a secure yet easily deployed sheath tolerant of the full selection of climatic situations. This is the knife. Brute force, durability, finesse, and gobs of cool. It's a pleasure to use, and sized in a sweet spot between the "way to much" and "not enough" knives of this kind. Couldn't be happier!
Sweet fixed blade

I really like the 119. I recently got one and haven't stoped carrying it, a highly recommended knife for survival and camping or hunter. Bada**
Can't ask for more ... especially for the price!

I pre-ordered this knife at the end of January. I like most ppl have been waiting for this knife. Just got it last week and I must say its a beast! The blade shape is beautiful not to mention with 154 CM steel. I haven't used it in the field yet how ever just based on my experience that the blade geometry I can tell you this will perform top notch. Comes with a finger choil like my Bark River Bravo Survivor. A little smaller but still a 6.44" blade gives it plenty of meat. The sheath that it comes with looks extremely durable and has a snap tec-lok for your belt. Another words, you don't have to take you pants off to put the knife on. You can't buy a better knife for the price!
