This 15008-BLK Steep Country Hunter fixed blade knife has a black Santoprene handle and includes a Kydex sheath with leather belt loop and secure strap.
The knife is good for 85 bucks , But the sheath is another story you will have to find a different one bad on Benchmade the knife is a 4.5 the sheath is a 0.5 for the quality
The knife itself is pretty great assuming BM didn’t screw up the edge on the rest of them like they did on mine. However the sheath is total crap, not benchmade quality. It sits further off the hip than it should and the kydex doesn’t retain the knife at all. Isn’t that kinda the point in kydex? To add to it the leather work is also crap. In the end if you like this knife and want to get it you should also invest in an armatus sheath for it. Just got mine in today and it functions great. Personally if your buying a benchmade I don’t think you should have to invest more into it to make it function the way it should’ve from the beginning but you can decide for yourself. If I was just rating the knife 4 stars because the edge is messed up.
