The Taggedout is a Benchmade hunting knife, with a Benchmade's renowned AXIS lock. This pocket knife has a lightweight, high-visibility orange handle; the orange makes it easy to see if you drop it in the woods, but dropping it is unlikely thanks to the ample texturing on the handle. The knife is fully ambidextrous, with a clip that can be switched from side to side. The Taggedout is a cutter for the outdoors and a handy companion to any that dare to explore.
Benchmade is an American-based company that builds some of the knife world's most popular models. They're renowned for their quality products and lifelong service.
I got mine not too long ago. It came very sharp out of the box, and looked pretty nice with the orange and the stand offs. My action was pretty tight, loosening the pivot helped but cleaning out the entire mechanism made it smoother. It slices incredibly well, feels solid with the extra standoff compared to a bugout. There's not much if any flex in the handles. I dyed my handles black, which makes it look loads better.
Just received from BHQ,and could not be more pleased. First, let me say I own between thirty and forty mid to high ends,I quit buying last year because I had everything that interested me.I had a bugout, that I liked alright, but never carried because, for that size,I had a pardue,(original manual, now discontinued),which I liked better, but actually,I prefer a 3.5-3.75 in blade for most edc uses. Then they came up with thiss taggedout-perfect size, nice blade shape,GREAT blade geometry, and nearly light as the bugout!Well, even though I hate orange,I couldn't wait,I had to have it.I have many benchmades, and the only quality control issue I EVER hade, was with the bladehq exclusive 940 in m4 steel-it was so dull, wouldn't even cut paper, took me forever to put a halfway decent edge on that m4!Was so dull, would have sent it back, but it's a beautiful peice. The quality control on this taggebout, was perfect, and the thing is razor sharp, the sharpest I've had out of the box from ANY brand, and that orange doesn't look so bad, with the black hardware.Getting this really brightened up my day,(which wasn't hard to do,considering I'm setting right smack in the middle of the path for a cat 5 hurricane, starting to get the outer bands right now).
