Customer Reviews

Dang, I love this knife
Brian C. on Jul 19, 2022

I will start out with I think paying this price for a slip joint knife is dopey. But I am a big fan of Benchmade in general, wanted a more gentlemanly style folder, and wanted the smaller and larger blade and the bottle opener. So, I made the plunge and clicked to buy. Straight out of the box is very comfortable in the hand and the blades open well and have midway stops, plus the bottle opener is a weird but very workable design. The large blade is a nice shape, mine is well-honed and centered, opens easily, and is easy to use with the contour of the handle being so comfortable. The small blade is my new workhorse and I can't believe how much I like it. I have used the knife in everyday activities, opening boxes, sharpening carpenter pencils, slicing open packaging for toys, and yes, opening bottles. I have also been using wood carving (my happy hobby) and found it to work very well, again that small blade is the star of the show. Grip, comfort, quality, ease of use, novelty, and appearance are all big pluses. My one gripe is I wished they would have eased/beveled the edge of the nail nick just a bit. Thanks, and enjoy
