This is an incredibly simple knife. There is the blade, a one-sided frame lock and the blade shroud.

The primary issue with this knife was the inability to open it with your thumb. The ball-bearing detente is very deep. It required an unbelievably hard push to open.

I disassembled the knife, and using a diamond file very slightly ramped the edge of the hole where the ball bearing runs. It's easy to find. Just follow the grease line. I sanded it with very fine sandpaper.

I pushed some medium-viscosity grease into that hole and reassembled the knife. Then I worked the blade open and closed a lot.

Now I can open the knife with one hand.

The blade is 440 and suitably sharp.

The clip is set too low on the knife. About 1-1/4 inches of the knife sticks out of your pocket. You can't reposition it, because the clip is part of the blade shroud.

Despite all this, I like the knife. It slips in and out of your pocket. When opened, it is very sleek with clean lines that extend from the tip to the handle - on both sides.

I would describe it as sneakily sinister in a sophisticated manner.
