Description:
Boker has scaled down the popular Boker Kwaiken design in this EDC friendly Kwaiken Compact auto. This model has a black handle and a stonewashed blade.
The American-made Boker Kwaiken Compact Automatic combines Lucas Burnley's minimalistic Kwaiken design with the hard-hitting, precise spring mechanism only Pro-Tech can deliver. This solid EDC auto features a blade made from 154-CM stainless steel, and a robust CNC milled aluminum handle that comes outfitted with a hidden lanyard loop and a stainless steel pocket clip.
Handle construction and comfort is good for a compact. I was surprised how thick the blade is. Snaps open with authority but I can't help to wonder if it would be smoother with a thinner blade (less mass). The edge that came on mine was really wide. I spent hours hogging off material to get the bevels to an even 20 degrees. I opted to add a 24 degree micro bevel too since this knife will mostly see cardboard, packing tape, light use. Now that its got a proper edge, I like it a lot more.
