I have purchased several knives from blade hq including buck boker and my favorite brand protech. The adage you get what you pay for is very true. Even with these cheap little Bokers you expect them to open without making your thumb hurt from pushing so hard but after looking at the box and it saying made in Taiwan I guess explained it all. No quality control. Id return the knife except it was personalized. Save your money on this particular knife.

For the price, this is a really good budget auto. The action is pretty fast and springy, despite being a bit hindered by the stiff deployment and the shape/weight of the blade kinda throwing the knife off balance when deployed. The knife shape is something I really like though, it's quite unique for an auto and pretty useful, and the steel is the best you can really ask for in a budget auto. The thing I don't like about the knife, however, is the aluminum handles. To me at least, they feel and look pretty cheap, and because of how light they are the blade is thrown off balance by the heavy blade deploying. Thing is tho, I can't really complain considering how cheap the knife is. Overall it's a good budget auto, but when it comes down to it I'd rather have the black version or I'd instead buy a Kalashnikov tbh.

For the price, it's great. Not steel to write home about, but it's got a nice flick to it and I like the weight and size.

This is not my first Boker auto. It is without a doubt the best looking and feels the best in the hand of any I have. However it is also the stiffest to activate, almost requiring two hands to get it to deploy. i'm hopeing that with use it will loosen up some, but for now I am slightly disappointed that a knife that looks and feels so good would be so difficult to operate.
Good knife fair price

I was well aware of the reputation of Boker autos before I purchased this. It has not disappointed. Very solid lockup, assertive opening and super solid materials throughout. Nice blade pattern. Release does seem stiff at first but becomes smooth with use. Recommended at twice the price, really.
Great series get one, or more!

The knife's button was gritty at the start, but after a day or so or playing with it,and a little KPL, on the button where it rubs the blade, no problems, the only reason I didn't give this a 5* was the factory sharpness is a tiny bit lacking.
Love it!

Great knife! The button was a little stiff and the action a but tight at first. It wasnt anything that a little working them both opening and closing several dozen times didn't take care of. Excellent knife overall and for about $30 shipped!!

I just received the knife today and I am impressed. It came with a AUS8 blade instead of the 420 as listed in the specs. A much better blade. Tight lockup. Beautiful knife. A bit dull but no problem to correct. I am A very satisfied customer.
A really NICE auto for this price!

As previous reviewer noted, it's on the heavy side but that's not a bad thing: it's a solid, well-built auto, fits very nice in the hand, opens quick and locks-up tight. I kinda like the Kalashnikov better, but I'm no expert.
Seriously, for $27 this is a really GOOD buy!

It's a bit bulky for me but the price is great. Handle and blade are both quite heavy so it's not the fastest Auto. I prefer the Kalashnikov and it is much snappier.

This is my first automatic other than the old style stiletto I had many moons ago. I have several assisted opening knives that I have collected over the years but wanted an auto just for the heck of it. I really like this knife except for the one quirk that is bugging me. Everything is nice and smooth with the exception of pushing the button to open. It is somewhat gritty. It's almost like it has 3 steps to open. I'm hoping that this will go away with some breakin time. Other than that it is finely finished and fairly sharp right out of the box. For the price I guess you can't complain to much.

This knife is surprisingly heavy build. Not unpleasant though as it is well balanced, sharp and an eye catcher. I could not believe the price from BHQ so I just bought it to add to my collection. Great value and clean lock up. It has a curious double click when you close it that is kind of cool like cocking a pistol. I recommend it highly for the price.
