Customer Reviews

For a special purpose
Michael R. on Aug 13, 2019

I received this knife as a gift and have not used it yet. I like the feel of the handle and it looks quite attractive. Based upon the other review, I would probably use this knife as a show knife in a case. It is a big knife and definitely looks attractive. It can still serve a special purpose.

Handle

First off I would like to say bladehq.com is an excellent website/company with excellent service. This review is strictly based on the product. I bought the knife thinking it should be a decent product not the best but I would at lest get my money's worth, unfortunately that wasn't the case. After a few chops on some small pine branches and a couple of throws into my apple tree, the handle broke off. Come to find out that the very small partial tang was welded to a very small piece of scree stock that runs through the handle and attaches to the pommel. That's all that is holding your blade on. If you're thinking of purchasing this knife make sure you don't plan on using it for anything serious.
