The Boker Magnum Knivgar is a fixed blade knife ideal for outdoor use: from hunting, to fishing, to bush-craft. The Knivgar stands apart with a blunt bludgeoning butt and comes with a matching polymer sheath with a belt loop.Features:
Pros: Light and very maneuverable. The balance of this knife seems perfect. The handle (and the pommel) are awesome. Cons: The blade steel is a bit on the thin side. The sheath isn't perfect. The knife just doesn't "snap in" securely enough. Heavy walking or running through the wilderness (or hiking) will definitely dislodge the knife from the sheath, which would cause it to rattle or fall out. Fyi: The hammer pommel is made of a high-quality steel. It's partially wrapped (around the side) in polymer. Some descriptions mention a "chisel" on the handle; however, I don't see anything on this knife that resembles one.
