Boker Mini Kwaiken Flipper Knife Titanium (3.125" D2) 01BO267

  • Satin-finished standard blade made from D2 steel.
  • Flipper tab for easy opening.
  • Titanium handle scales over stainless steel liners.
  • Secure liner lock.
  • Tip-up pocket clip and a lanyard hole.

Based on Lucas Burnley's popular design, the Mini Kwaiken has the same build as the regular Kwaiken we're all familiar with, but in a more compact, EDC-friendly size. This model has a D2 steel blade and titanium scales over stainless steel liners. An IKBS ball bearing pivot is standard, along with exemplary action from the flipper opener, which features jimping. The tip-up carry clip is set into the scale, for a fine finished look.

Gorgeous Boker Mini Kwaiken Titanium
John N. on Dec 30, 2019

This is a gorgeous flipper knife. The titanium is superb with a light diagonal pattern. The action is buttery smooth. I would consider this to be a gentleman’s knife. This may not be suitable for a shirt pocket (due to it’s weight), but it will definitely work for a coat (or pants) pocket. Since I purchased this knife in December 2019, the production series number is in the upper mid 400 range.

Love the looks!

Love the looks of this knife, ergos could be better but it is suuuuper smooth, would like to get a couple of the other variations.

My final thoughts
Tanner S. on Jan 7, 2019

After having this knife a while now, i have to say it is the solid 4 stars i give it. There are many "goods" about this knife, things like the shape of the knife, both open and close are great. I love having something so slim in my pocket that doesn't get in the way of my other items i keep in my pockets. I also love the flipper tab design, even though a lot of people complain about it being to slippy, it is just right for me. i'm going to skip the "bads" for a sec and move to the "uglies". The ugly parts about this knife are mostly my opinion, but I am not a giant fan of the way to pocket clip is, i would love to see a version with a 1 peice milled pocket clip, and the texture on the handle is tolerable, just not my favorite. Okay back to the "bads", there is only 1 bad about the knife itself that i have to complain about, and it's that the blade is so close to the back of the handle, it can cut you if you are not careful, but this should be no problem if you are responsible with your tools. The main "bads" here are the specs on the sight, sorry BladeHq, but you need to correct some stuff. First off, I can't tell if this knife is made in Taiwan or China, due to some of the differences within the knife. The main bad on your sight is that it mentions a "standard" ikbs system for the kwaikens, which it is not, it is actually a caged bearing system, and whether ikbs or not, is not the standard system for your typical kwaiken. believe it or not, I am actually relieved to see a caged bearing, but it would be settling to know before I prepare to release dozens of tiny metal balls on my desk. Other than that there is not much to say. Great knife as long as you take care of your D2, don't want that rusting. I hope this comes to the viewers help when making a decision on a Boker kwaiken.
