This little auto brings the perfect size, shape, and snap…with a blade lock, no less. In my humble opinion, it’s a better auto than some of the far more expensive alternatives in the market. Sure, you forgo higher end blade materials, but that’s a worthy sacrifice in this case. Given that this is a smaller knife, those with larger hands may have some ergonomic issues as is to be expected. However, you’ll STILL get a kick out of this knife every time you deploy the blade. That’s the fun in owning most autos. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful unboxing. I love opening a new Boker auto or balisong. Great knife for opening Amazon boxes, and other things you can find a reason to punch that button. And it's a good deal.
Usually carry a Benchmade Mini-Grip. Wanted to try out an auto for EDC. Bought the Mini Strike because it was cheap and I didn't like the look of the Kalashnikov. Used mostly as a box opener and tag remover. Was blown away with the quality for the price. Just enough handle to completely wrap my hand around. Plenty enough blade to do everything I need. Light enough to forget I'm carrying it. The safety gives me piece of mind that I'm not going to accidentally deploy the blade and stab myself when I sit. Low profile pocket clip is great. It's basically a perfect knife for everyday, light/medium duty use, and it's cheap enough that i'll actually use it and not worry about shelling out $100+ for a new one if I chip the tip. Cheap, reliable, well made, and feels great.
The average family man can't put $250 into an EDC. BOKER makes it possible. My Mini Strike hits hard and lockup is solid and tight. The D2 blade takes a sharp edge and holds it nicely. The aluminum handle stays secure in my hand and the lock keeps the blade where I put it. I have 8 different BOKER automatic knifes (Kalashnikovs), but this is my go to knife by choice.
Excellent knife for the money. Action is decent, lockup on mine is above average in this price range. Holds an edge pretty well. Not as good as I am used to for D2, but not bad. I am considering buying a second to keep as a backup in my duty bag. The Boker engineers are wizards. Check out the specs above. Somehow they managed to make the cutting edge LONGER than the BLADE! It's MAGIC!!!!
Perfect size. Good price. Dullest knife I've ever bought, shame. Would love to have one with G10 scales and a sharp blade.
I've got the full size Strike, but this is better. Better steel (d2 vs. Aus8) better action and in my opinion better size. This one is a bit of a sleeper, it seems to be a BladeHQ exclusive even though they don't advertise that. I like it better than it's over styled Kalashnikov brother. It's weak point is a nice clip that rests over a very rough handle. If I carried this daily I have no doubt my pocket would be in shreds.
I want a Pro-tech but after getting this Mini Strike I’m not sure there can be $150 difference. I like everything with one caveat, it does not slide in and out of my pocket without significant effort. That’s it! Blade is much better than I expected. Strong spring. Solid all around.
On receipt I was very happy. Nice weight and feel. Not too big and heavy. However after 20 or so actions the spring action stopped working...I feel the spring may have broken or come loose. Customer service is excellent with a return label issued immediately. I will buy a different knife but now i have to do more research.
