I have owned the Boker Mini Strike for nearly a year and it has become a regular in my EDC rotation. I love this knife. The action, edge, and size are all ideal if you carry a knife every day. It has seen some hard use outdoors and takes a beating.
Solid build, tight blade, great auto opening power, performs great as an every day carry.
This has super easy action and fits discretely in the hand...it’s one of my favorites and the price is right.
Decided to try an automatic and this is a perfect EDC. The secondary lock is reassuring and works flawlessly. Well built knife with no wobble or slop. The blade is snappy but not over powering. The D2 steel was very sharp out of the box. This mini is so good, think I’ll also get the large one for bigger jobs. This knife is a bargain at this price. Five stars for sure! So glad I tried it.
This little automatic could possibly be the perfect EDC. Several people have commented on how much they like the handles. It is the perfect size and weight for an EDC. The action is snappy and lock up is tight with no blade play in any direction whatsoever. It was also nice that this knife came with a decent D2 blade and not a lower grade AUS-8 or 8cr. I definitely recommend.
I’ve been carrying this Mini Strike for about a week and it is a great size for edc. With the snappy auto action and upgraded steel you shouldn’t pass this one up.
Just received the mini. I have a full size strike and have to say I like the mini better. D2 steel is a nice upgrade from AUS8. Very snappy. Well centered I think this will be a big hit with the edc crowd.
This is a great knife, came out of the box sharp and has very snappy action. The ergonomics are also very comfortable in the hand. One thing to keep in mind before purchasing this knife is the D2 steel and edge angle. It makes this knife rather hard to sharpen especially for a novice. I recently got a set of wet stones with 400, 1000, 3000, and 8000, grits which solved the problem, but the stone I was using before didn't get the job done. My big complaint, however, is the spring. I have had this knife for a year and the spring has broke multiple times. Each time the spring breaks I have hesitated on buying another (I am a poor college student and even the 4 dollar springs start to build, up my mini strike has been sitting in my drawer for a month with a broken spring). If you don't mind taking this knife apart and buying replacement springs every couple months this knife is for you.
Decent little knife. Perfect size for EDC. Unfortunately, the color on the handles was already wearing off from only a few days in the pocket, kakhis mind you. Blade was not as sharp as I would have liked especially from reading reviews. Action leaves a bit to be desired, but lock up is solid. Have to keep in mind it's a sub $50 knife on sale. Think I will be returning mine. Glad others are enjoying.
