Awesome budget auto!
James L. on Oct 20, 2022

This knife is pretty dang sweet! The size is perfect for EDC and the overall fit and finish seems pretty solid. The action is pretty snappy and fast. For what you pay for it, I'm impressed with it.

I just bought this knife
BRITTNAY C. on Nov 10, 2021

I bought this knife because of the price point and the fact it's a auto opener. I have Benchmade, case's and other custom made knives. I wanted a everyday carry knife that I'm not worried about messing up.This knife straight out of the box fits that bill. The knife isn't perfect but at $40.00 you can't expect perfection. The blade was sharp enough to shave hairs off my arm. The scales are clean and appealing. I wanted the smaller knife because being female I have smaller hands. The length of the grip is perfect. The texture of the scales is very nice for an anti-slip feel. The clip is stiff but I prefer that being that it will be harder for it to accidentally come out of my pocket. The locking mechanism is something I was looking for because of the safety aspect. The lock works very well with no issues of accidental opening no matter if used rough or light. I have tested it when on safe pushing, bumping, and messing with the open button with no issue of accidental opening. The open button doesn't seem to hang up when pressure is applied. This review although I hope it helps is just on the particular knife I bought. I can't say without a doubt they are the best but I am very happy with my choice. Every knife is different and could have its own issues.

Great replacement for my Gerber
ERICK L. on Aug 6, 2020

Purchased this knife to replace my Gerber mini covert. I needed a more usable blade. This knife is solidly built, small enough to carry in your front pocket while the blade type is very utilitarian. Its very light weight and the blade is thick and very snappy when opened. No wobble in the blade when open. This was a concern when I purchased. Others have mentioned that blade is not that sharp upon arrival. It may not feel very sharp but is has cut though anything I've thrown at it so far. eg: 8-10mm rope, plastic banding etc etc. Its sharp but you need a razor knife-buy one. I also like the green color as it is easier to see vs black. -some of us are tired of many useful things being the color black. Exceptional knife for the money. The locking mechanism works well and stays locked in your pocket. Time will tell how it holds up. A couple drops of Boeing T10 and the blade opening is as smooth and fast as my Gerber.

Same experience as the rest
ROBERT B. on May 18, 2022

This is a fun little knife. I wanted an automatic*, it was under $50 so I bought it. The action is quick, no issues with the button and the lock works well. Like almost every other review I read, the knife came out of the box in need of sharpening. A few minutes later, it shaves hair, so no big deal. The pocket clip was so tight, I couldn’t get it over my jeans pocket. I had to bend it, but bent it a tad too far. Had to bend it back. It wasn’t perfect, but it works. These 2 adjustments would make a world of difference out of the box. The final little complaint is that the sound of the blade engaging is a little lacking. The click is pretty soft, and I love that sound. No big deal, but it is a shortcoming. All in all, it’s a fun knife and surely worth the slight price tag. I’ve enjoyed carrying it.

Boker Drop Point
Ted M. on Mar 25, 2022

I like the fit and solid construction. Knife came in a nice canvas style zipper pouch. Great for packing in delicate "Possibles". I did have to touch up the Knife edge with a steel. I like things sharp! Great carry knife for the price.

Good Overall
Ed S. on Aug 13, 2020

I like this knife for edc. Felt a little weighty for the size at first, but after holding it for a minute, it actually feels really good and matches the look. It looks great with the desert warrior styling. This knife is very nice and snappy. The safety works well and is in a convenient spot. I only wish the blade was sharper out of the box.

Great Little Auto
Brian L. on Feb 18, 2020

I've never been a fan of giant knives so this "little" guy is about perfect. Blade doesn't "feel" sharp but it actually cuts almost everything like a hot knife through soft butter. Action is quick and generally reliable (although it has hung a few times but I suspect that's just a matter of needing to be broken in). I love the colors and it feels pretty good in hand. The blade does have a tiny amount of wobble, but only when you apply a fair amount of force. Overall, for a knife at this price range this thing is pretty solid.

not great
vadim n. on Nov 26, 2020

First of all, I do like the form and size of the knife with a decent built. The auto mechanism works well, when I need to use the knife. The safety lock however, seems unnecessary as the button is sturdy enough not to be accidentally pressed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the clip is really stiff. It actually damaged one of my front pockets, so I had to use pliers to get bent back enough to be useful. The blade arrived in need of a little work to get sharp. One last thing is that after a few weeks, I noticed the paint rubbing off from the scales, which is cosmetic and does not impact operation in any way. Over all its a functional pocket knife, that is small enough that It just lives on my pocket, and most times I forget its there. It does not see much use, just an occasional card board, wire or plastic, so I hope it will last a while. I do feel I overpaid a little bit for it, but on sale, its a worthy buy.

It won't cut paper
Kim S. on Aug 22, 2020

I generally like the knife. Feels good in the hand, no blade wobble, fast deployment with only the occasional hiccup, lock is dependable BUT the blade came dull. It would not even cut paper. Seriously my 5 dollar clamshell Camillus from Walmart made this look like a butter knife. So now I am off to get it sharpened so I can actually use the knife.

Needed some work
Kyle M. on Apr 27, 2020

Out of the box this D2 blade was not sharp. Needed quite a bit of work on my sharpmaker to get what I'm used to seeing out of a factory edge. The second thing that needed work was the clip. The tension was so strong I had trouble clipping and unclipping this knife from even the sturdiest pockets. I was able to remove the clip and bend it to an appropriate tension. After these changes its a good usable $40 auto. Fit and finish are what you would expect from an auto in the price, not perfect but not noticeable until you give it a real close inspection. The size and ergos are great for an edc auto, tho I will likely upgrade in the future.
