This Blade HQ exclusive Boker Plus Lancer features a lightweight carbon fiber handle with a titanium liner lock and a CPM-S35VN blade steel upgrade.

Knifemaker Serge Panchenko established a name for himself with his extremely popular Dog Tag series of folding knives. The Boker Lancer builds off that unique EDC design, while providing a larger, more functional blade. It offers a profile that is more slim and lightweight than most full size pocket knives, with a sturdy build you can depend on during tough jobs. A titanium liner lock solidifies the tough build while providing superb lock up. This Panchenko design is finished off with a titanium pocket clip for tip-up carry.

Great little knife.
Benjamin Z.
This is a great little blade. It carries well in the pocket, has a great fidget friendly action, and the S35VN is an awesome addition to an already cool design.
I do wish that the detent was a little stronger and I wish that they had put even a little jimping on the spine for front flipping. Thatís it.

Great price for what you get. The opening action is very smooth. Very attractive folder with light weight carbon fiber scales (not G10 Laminated). Don't mind the the satin finish on the s35vn blade. Overall great buy,I recommend this knife.
Great materials, awesome design, very fair price

I was very intrigued by the design when they first came out in G10, but was bummed that I missed the "mistake" first run that had the S35VN blade with G10 handles. Wasn't thrilled about the 440C for the price of the "normal" G10 models, so I held off. When this Carbon Fiber/S35VN model was announced, I didn't think twice about impulse buying it, and I couldn't be happier.

Only thing I was wary of was the fact that it uses nylon washers instead of bronze, but Boker managed to pull it off very well, resulting in a very smooth and fairly solid action. Definitely not a knife to be used hard, but it is perfect for a classier option to carry when needed compared to some of my other knives.
Decent knife

The knife looks great and has that Panchenko appeal. I was happy to see they brought the lancer back with a nicer steel, so I jumped on the deal.

The Good:
- Blade, great steel and sharp
- Looks, looks great
- Weight, very light
-Smooth, the movement of the blade is very buttery.

The Bad:
- Poor Detent, but still works
- Flipper, not the easiest to use, but the blade still has a nice thumb hole. If you work at it though, you can use the front flipper with your index or thumb.
- Slippery, not a textured Carbon like the Spyderco Sage 1.

If you only own one knife this shouldn't be it. If you own too many knives like myself, this may have a place in your collection.
Slick Look
Tae S.
Looks very clean, Not the biggest fan of the lock up/ placement of said lockup - But overall, it is a very clean looking "Gentleman's" knife with good steel.

The one I had received had a factory grind that was pretty terrible, Helen Keller could have done a better job. And could never properly do the "over the top" opening feature due to the "sticky-ness".

Great knife for the money
Very well made. Nicely done. A lot nicer than I had imagined it would be.
Good deal

The knife is very attractive and and you get premium materials for a low price. The front flipper is too slick and the blade loosened over time.
Thanks for this exclusive!

I jumped at the chance to get this exclusive Lancer. When I first saw this design last year I knew I had to have one, but I wanted it with upgraded steel. So, I held off. Sometimes good things come to those who wait, and I wasn't disappointed. Imagine my surprise to see that it also comes with carbon fiber scales! And it was a no-brainer for the price. Now that I have the knife in hand I am very impressed with the build quality, and it has already replaced my Paramilitary 2 as my EDC.
Simple perfection!!

I really donít like Boker knives and this was the problem to go on with this buy.

What a mistake.... this is the best boker I ever handed!! S35VN with carbon fiber for 80 dollars!! And the Serge stile with excelente details and finish. Love it!!
Nicer in person!

The pics don't do this little beauty justice! Each side is made from slabs of machined carbon fiber. The surfaces aren't textured, so the knife can be slippery, especially when practicing your front flipping. The machined ends have an unfinished look, but are pleasant to the touch. The blade is beautiful! Perfectly machined spear point, with a well done swedge, and a nice high flat grind. Came super sharp, too. The action is buttery smooth, though the detent is a bit weak. It won't flop open, but there isn't enough resistance to give a satisfying *thwack* It's super light, because the carbon fiber is the frame! It only has a steel liner on the lock side, but it's partial. Just enough to support the lock bar and pocket clip.
Cool design mediocre execution at best

Front flipper is too slick due to a satin finish, and lack of traction. The thumb hole is rather sharp, the liner lock is quite sticky, and blade is off centered. I really love the idea of the knife, but hate the actual knife. Cons far outweigh the pros on this one.

Super lightweight good folder

I never owned a top flipper, I really like it, extremely fun to flip. Itís probably the smoothest opening knife Iíve owned. No liners, just the liner lock. The handles are full carbon fiber so itís super lightweight. Also came very sharp. The handles are pretty slick which is the only downside, to me.
