Description:
This Blade HQ Exclusive Boker Plus Strike features a black finished drop point blade and a textured black aluminum handle.
The Boker Strike is a slim and sleek automatic conversion knife with swift push-button action. It has a contoured aluminum handle with sturdy stainless steel liners and is designed with a dedicated index finger groove and thumb groove for excellent ergonomics. As noted, the push button releases the blade with a strong precision-fit coil spring for hard-hitting action. Just beside the firing button is a safety slide to prevent misfires. Everyday use is accommodated with a deep, reversible tip-up or down carry pocket clip.

*Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do warranty the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.
This knife meets every expiation for all three requirements. It is just the right blade and handle shape to hold firmly yet allow the blade to cut forward for sharpening a stake, draw back while peeling an apple or stabbing a pumpkin to make a jack-o-lantern. Fits well in the pocket and feels natural in the hand. The blade material holds an edge well but can be sharpened without excessive effort. The handle material allows a solid grip without feeling sticky. Overall a well made tool.
Excellent auto knife and it has D2 steel! Fit and finish was excellent right out of the box!
Snappy, solid, sharp, D2, inexpensive. As good as knives 2-3x the cost.
I have a Strike in AUS8 and I use it daily. I could not pass up the chance to get one in D2. I love it. I will be buying another one
I bought the knife for my son as a gift for completing Airborne School. He was very impressed by the knife. He liked the size and balance. He was impressed with the durability and loved the automatic action. I was very pleased with the knife and the speedy delivery from Blade HQ.
I have my knife for 10 mins, seal on the main knife box is broken? I pushed the button 5 times. Auto stopped working! Not happy. I see that the swivel screw is so loose I can turn it with my finger! Boker does not sell this knife as a auto. Blade Hq gets them as "button knives" and adds the spring but didn't reapply the Boker Loctite. So the auto spring jumped out of track when the screw gets loose. After an hour of cussing and a t6 and t8 I fixed the problem. Blade HQ aside blade is sharp, nice hand feel scale coating is a little thin. I would like to see holes to move the clip to a left pocket carry.
This is still a very new purchase, but it is exactly what I have been looking for in an EDC, with the addition of D2 steel. Great price and overall design/function.
Recent picked up a black d2 version. Action is very snappy. Nice packaging. Not as sharp as I like out of the box, but an easy fix. My issues; the black coating has begun to peel after cutting a few semi-thick cardboard boxes. Also, the release button grinds. It's worse the slower I depress the button.. There's a definite grinding sound. Added oil & been playing with the action to see if it just needed to be broken in. Hasn't happened yet. Anyone else experience these problems? For the price...still like the knife
I really like the feel and look of this knife but it showed up very dull and took me a fair amount of time to get a decent edge on it. I would give it more stars if it weren't for that.
This is a fun and hard opening automatic. The blade was sharp out of the box, but not “razor” sharp though. The action button is a little stiff, but a drop of oil helped a bit and I’m assuming it will become a little smoother with use. The biggest problem with this knife is that the safety switch is not tight and it rattles in the “unsafe” position. So I feel and hear a rattle every time I handle the knife. It makes the knife feel cheap. It annoys me enough that I might take it apart and glue the safety switch in place so it doesn’t rattle anymore. Other than that issue I really enjoy the knife.
Love the look, feel and size. The perfect one handed pocket knife for a reasonable price. However, after several operations the automatic opening action stopped working. I will return the knife. I wonder if I need to consider a different brand or place of manufacture or go for a higher price range.
