Great knife but...
del a.
i bought this knife to get into automatic knives and i loved it. the pivot would get loose about once a week but it was easily fixable with the right star key. but the one day i was opening a package and opened it but instead of the clean i was used to the knife struggled to open. at first i thought it was because i over tightened it so i loosened it. but it was still sluggish. so i took it apart and the spring was bent.
absolutely awesome edc . this far exceeds the kershaws i have carried for 20 years--don't get me wrong , i am still waiting on the natrix xl , but you WILL NOT find a better knife in this range--I PROMISE !!
So far so good

This is the knife I leave in my turnout gear at the fire department. I really wanted a Gerber 06, but the odds of losing it are good... Very good. So losing $200 is not really an option.
Changed the clip to tip up, and the blade kept deploying in my pocket, so the lock has to be left on. It is deployable in gloves, though not as easily as I had hoped. Overall pretty pleased.
Oh so sexy

These are a steal for the $$$. I bought 3 and got a free beanie with purchase. Awesome fit and finish...only issue was the safety on 2 of the 3 was a little loose, but I disassembled and corrected it. Taiwan is becoming an excellent source of knives, with spyderco, kershaw, etc having knives made there...these factories have the machinery and experience to create wonderful pieces of cutlery at decent prices. You cannot go wrong with this knife!!

Update: 3-30-2018

Still an awesome knife, name brand and AUS8 steel in auto format...only issue so far is the aluminum handle is quite soft compared to other knifes I've had...the handle shows quite a bit of wear in 17 days...through the paint and into the aluminum, which has been flattened out on the high points...still super grippy! If you can get past this, then wonderful at $40!!!
Superb Quality

I was very pleased when my Boker arrived, and surprised when I pressed the fire button. This was my first Boker auto, and the speed at which the blade moved convinced me that it won't be my last. I'm glad I got one before it sold out this last time.
Great Boker quality...

After 17 years of owning a Boker Magnum, I decided to replace it with this knife. Although the price is low, quality is high. I can't say enough about the value of Boker knives.
Great budget automatic

There is a reason these are out of stock so often. The action is very snappy. The tanto blade just looks so good too.
