The Talpid from Boker is designed to be your new favorite EDC knife. It's slim, simple, and elegant, but it's made of tough materials allowing it to be used for some harder tasks as well. It has a deep carry pocket clip allowing it to vanish into your pocket when not in use.
Features:First, the weight is 4.3 oz. not 3.06 oz as shown in the specifications. I more or less expected this for a stainless frame of this length. Style, flipping action, and blade grind are all very good. However, the detent in the tang is visible when the the blade is open, and their is no cutout to make unlocking the blade easy with your thumb. There is also no provision for a lanyard if you're so inclined. All the above combine to give a D2 knife that is sturdy, functional and more attractive than many, but with a few negatives that many won't mind.
