This limited edition, Blade HQ Exclusive Urban Trapper model is outfitted with stunning marble carbon fiber scales over a tumbled titanium frame. It's matched with a beautiful satin finished VG-10 steel blade.
Designed by Brad Zinker, the Urban Trapper is inspired by classic Trapper knives and has become one of Boker's most popular gentleman's knives. It's an appealing knife with a slim build and high-grade materials. The premium VG-10 stainless steel clip point blade rides on an IKBS ball-bearing pivot for smooth, no-nonsense action. This exclusive model of the Urban Trapper features a carbon fiber handle with a titanium frame lock and a deep carry pocket clip.
Please launch another run of this knife! I've been waiting for years! I need it!
The pictures don't come close to doing this knife justice. The cf is beautiful and unique. At this price point the knife seems solid and refined.
I have always wanted an urban trapper, and when I saw the bladehq exclusive marbled cf, I had to get it. I love how light it is, the beautiful carbon fiber, and the amazingly smooth action. I say this knife is a must but for anyone who likes knives!
The Urban Trapper is an awesome knife. Pros: Fantastic EDC blade shape and size. Super lightweight and the shorter deep carry pocket clip is very convenient. VG-10 is a great moderate quality steel and well rounded across the board. The action is quick and smooth, working from either a downward flick or by depressing the flipper tab. The marbled carbon fibre is gentlemanly and looks great in the light, with a smokey/watery texture as the light crosses it. The knife arrived sharp and centered with a good fit and finish, and came with a mini wrench for adjusting if you don't already have a tool yourself, or if you want to have a spare for your day bag or car. Cons: I'd have preferred the blade steel upgraded along with the scales, even if it means a higher price tag. The lock, although titanium, can be pushed vertically into the knife and has some slight lock stick. Not a huge deal since the lockbar is so thin, but I'd feel better if it were more stable. It doesn't create any blade play, but still. I also would have liked the carbon fiber to be polished better. You can see some machining lines in the right light, which kinda counteracts the c.f. The knife also lacks a stop pin of any kind, and I wonder how it's going to handle the fast flipping action over a prolonged period of time since it seems the liner lock takes the brunt of the impact.
