This Blade HQ Exclusive Desert Warrior XXL Kalashnikov features a copper blade with D2 steel and a OD green aluminum handle.
Description:
The Boker XXL Kalashnikov is big. It's really big! It's so big it warranted a new box, a new handle shape, and a new aftermarket spring. This beastly Blade HQ Exclusive is a great option for a tactical knife, a real statement of an EDC knife, and thanks to its extra length, even a folding automatic kitchen knife!
Boker Kalashnikov Knives come in many sizes, a variety of blade shapes, and tons of colors!
*Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do warranty the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.
i dont like pocket clips but this one is extra uncomfortable once i got the pocket clip off it was awesome the button is a little hard to press maybe it will get easier over time overall i like the knife
Fantastic knife! This did come sharper than any knife I own YES shaving paper cutting popsicle wraper slicer sharp. Blade deploys quickly with great snap you can here across the room. No wiggle or very very little. Quite impressive my friends really freak out whan the see this monsters deployment! I also own the xl and a standard. Now for the problem that has set forth THE pocket clip was stretched out with normal carry ? like I stated I own others of this brand and style. I've carried the xl for my edc for a long time. All my other bokers are as stiff as the day I got them. Not a big deal but bothers me when handling knife. It's rattling and weak. Other than that best blade ever!
This is the one I’ve been waiting for. I prefer this dagger or drop point type of blade. First off the overall fit and finish are great, especially the blade. It almost looks PVD coated. The lasered markings are perfect. While the blade wasn’t shaving sharp it wouldn’t take much more to make it so. Blade was a little sluggish at first until I put a couple drops of thin instrument oil on both sides of the pivot point and worked it in for a minute or two. Fires good now but not snappy like it’s smaller Boker Kalishnakov cousins. I think this is a pretty good value for an auto knife this big and well made with a D2 blade and adequate for several tasks or purposes.
The knife arrived today and it opens fast and feels good in my hand, however it was very dull which surprised me coming from Boker.
This knife is fairly impressive. Comes sharp. I think the thing needs played with to get the blade to swing better or lubed better. It is sort of sluggish. Otherwise good buy for the money.
