Total Eye-Candy!

As my first front flipper this was definitely trial by fire. Out of the box I was a bit frustrated as I couldn’t quite get the deployment right. I blamed the detent, I blamed the action, and suddenly I realized… I was to blame. After messing with this knife for a good while I finally got it down and I can now confidently say that I love this knife. The action (unlike my first misguided impressions) is fantastic however it needed to be broken in a bit. When executed right it really is nice. Perfect lock up and a nice solid *thwack*. It’s all in the technique. And, as for the looks I would say it is my favorite looking knife that I own. The marbled CF is gorgeous and even has a little tiny bit of texture which was a pleasant surprise as the rest of this knife can be almost slippery with a sweaty hand. Size is perfect, fits the hand well and I dare say fits the pocket better. I’m a budget folder kind of guy but the design of this knife always stood out to me, and at the sale price the FOMO kicked in. I have to say I’m glad I picked it up. This will definitely be my go to classy folder for a long time.

Whoooooooweee !

Edit : day 2 After I totally receiving the knife and being happy with the fit and finish it didn’t take long to start breaking in and figure out how to close it easily . I was going too low a few times and it dropped on top of my thumb 3 times . Now it’s easy as pie and falls past the detent with the way it’s designed on the blade by the lockbar as it comes around there s space to get past the detent then then it becomes round again and stops when it hits the thumb or just crack the lock bar and let it set on the detent and it slaps closed softly . Either way , easy . Had to go through some growing pains . I carried this today in gym shorts and the clip looks cool with no screw showing and even better I didn’t know it was there and it never got in the way of anything . Usually a larger or thicker knife would be in the way of I need to get into my pockets . So ?? for this thin lightweight design that is more than capable of being an excellent slicer . It was nice to grab a peach and roll it around the blade and twist it apart . This will be my new restaurant knife as it is non threatening looking and ultra capable of excellent slicing . Thank you guys , appreciate and hope this helps someone Seen a vid on YouTube and Spencer said this is the one people will most likely be interested in . Sent centered and pivot was adjusted by someone who “knows “ . Just got it but initial impressions are it’s freaking light , cool looking and flips easily . Very cool lightweight design so far , blade is sticky sticky sharp . More than most knives come . Umm , fit and finish is excellent with the marbled carbon fiber is nice and grippy . A lot grumpier than other carbon fiber I’ve felt. The clip is very nice very nice not stiff at all at all. It’s a little longer than most but I like that about this knife. It’s nice smelling. Did I mention the clip is freaking awesome very springy. The pivot is sweet that’s a China thing the three blades from the airplanes in the war, Mitsubishi uses it it’s very popular. Respect I guess . blade is beautiful, it’s easy to finger flick. I’ve only had an hour but there isn’t much bad I can say right now. I hope not too. I don’t think so tbh. I don’t want to act like I know everything but I have some knives for many years and now this is a good knife to edc and use for slicing only . This one will be able to cut my cured sausage nice and thin amd slice up everything I need it to but I ll probably just flick it like the other ones I like to keep nice . I think I just figured out how to get a good hard front flip so to just roll the side of the thumb over instead of pressure on the tip works good but not every time . Rolling the thumb works great and makes a good lock up sound . Not adjusting anything . It’s funny because after deploying I have twirled the knife almost every time because it’s so skinny . Like roll it between the thumb and index finger . There’s nothing bad to say about this knife except it’s not a heavy user obviously , haha . Going golfing , adios amigos Thanks blade hq if you tuned it before sending , it’s perfect . I already ordered another different yesterday . This was a great deal and I appreciate that you have these sales . Good call from Spencer. Maybe allow for pics in the reviews like Amazon so we can come here for more in depth reviews .
