Fans of the Buck 110 Folding Hunter, rejoice—the 110 Hunter Sport is here! Buck heard you and created a lightweight version of one of the most famous knives in the world. The hardwood and brass materials of the original Folding Hunter have been swapped for aluminum and micarta, the nail nick for thumb studs, and 420HC steel for CPM S30V steel. As a result, the Sport version is lighter, easier to use one-handed, and more durable. This model also features a deep-carry pocket clip with Cerakote Armor ceramic coating to protect again scuffs and scrapes. Every piece of this knife has been carefully considered to bring you the toughest, lightest generation of the 110 Folding Hunter ever!
The Buck 110 was the first pocket knife considered equal to fixed blade tasks. For more of this classic knife design, check out the rest of the 110 Series we offer!
Theres alot of remakes out there, such as the new predator movie, the new Aladdin, the 2010 version of true grit, but this one is truly better than the original. Ive always thought the buck 110 was sick, but i knew id lose it without the pocket clip. This one has a pocket clip. Problem solved. The one handed opening is stiff, but you can definitely fling it out with one hand if you’re man enough. I love S30V so for me its worth the extra coin. Just have a tiny torx bit and some red lock tight handy because the pocket clip comes loose.
Although still not easy to open with one hand it can be done with lots of practice. Aside from that feature the rest of the knife is magnificent. You get to tighten/loosen the pivot and the materials are first rate. Going to get an auto 110 so I do not have to fight with thumbstuds etc.
