I have always been a fan of Buck knives. For the price, they are hard to beat. This knife hits the sweet spot for EDC. It is cheap enough to actually use the knife without concern, and the updated design ensures you can keep it in your pocket. The blade is made with 420HC which Buck heat treats to its ideal hardness, so it keeps an edge respectively and is easily resharpened when needed. Yes, there are better knives for more money, but when I am out fishing/hunting/working I always reach for my Buck knives. They are tried and true. This is no exception.
For 30 dollars all in it doesn't get much better than this. Not as chunky as the OG 112 which makes for a much better edc. Super light weight, nice blade shape, and decent steel. Handle does feel a bit cheap but that is to be expected given this price range. That said, the locking mechanism feels very sturdy. I also like the pocket clip.
