Buck 12617 Doctor's Folding Knife Green Bone (2.8" Satin)

This Doctor's knife from Buck Knives has a green bone handle with nickel silver bolsters and a spear point blade made of stainless steel.

The Doctor's knife was very familiar in the 1800's for the traveling doctor or physician. With the slender blade, cutting medication pills, stirring solutions, or breaking up powders was simple, on top of the variety of cutting tasks that could be accomplished with an everyday pocket knife. The flattened bolster at the butt of the blade was used for grinding and crushing.
