Description:

Customers have been asking for a tactical automatic knife from Buck for years, and the Impact is the result of a lot of focused time and effort. This knife has a premium S30V steel blade that opens with the push of a button. The aluminum handle features textured inlays to enhance grip and a slider provides safe pocket carry and can be used as a secondary lock when the blade is deployed.

Please dont stop carrying Buck products. The fit and finish, quality construction, blade steel (S30V), Lifetime warranty, snd best of all MADE IN AMERICA! This unit is similar to protec TR3 TACTICAL. Except the blade steel is far superior IMO. This knive performs snappy, locks up tight, has no looseness or play after deployed. IMO Ill take this over protec any day. Best of all Its a Buck!

Best looking knive I own... but the design is flawed

If, in the owners eyes a knife can be sexy, then this one is- for me. But in spite of its really nice curved handle and beautiful blade, it has a surprising flaw. By holding the knife such that you squeeze the handle hard just forward of the short back spacer while pressing the "fire" button at the same time. You can stop the blade from opening in mid flight. Even when not doing this and simply opening the knife normally, the blade opens very sluggishly (at least with mine). In all, a beautiful knife with a serious flaw.
