The FlatTop is hand machined with a textured outer rim to add an extra boost to your spin times. Spinning the top from the outer diameter requires a bit more skill and results in fewer RPM's than traditional stemmed tops, but with a little finesse they can really get going. After a couple spins we achieved spin times ranging from 3 to 5 minutes, and the manufacturer has clocked them up to 12 minutes.
