Customer Reviews

Phenomenal knife, but for $42 it's too good to be true but it's true
Blair R. on Sep 23, 2023

Wow! Wow!! WOW!!! This is a phenomenal knife, but for $42 it's too good to be true... but , somehow, someway, it is true! First off I'm a big fan of Nitro-V. Holds an edge very well, it's stainless, and is easy to sharpen. The purple G10 and black carbon fiber go together so well. In my personal opinion it's the best color combination there is. This is such a classy, vintage looking gents knife. Next, unlike another review, mine and all of them should have ceramic ball bearings, not washers, and you definitely can feel it. The action on mine is excellent. The detent is perfectly dialed in for a front flipper and the bearings make it open and close so smoothly. Right from the start the action was excellent. A light shake and it drops shut for me. It also fires open every time. I always loved this knife since it first came out. I nearly bought it many times, but for some reason, I always passed up buying it. Then, a couple of weeks ago I saw it on sale for $41.99 ?. For the price of $41.99 it's probably the best knife deal - best bang for the buck - in the entire knife world... if not, it certainly is darn close. I like the pocket clip also. It's a nice deep carry pocket clip that is easy to use, but I wish it was black... but that's just me being picky and splitting hairs to find something I think would make it better. The only regret I had about this knife was that I only bought one, but that has changed. I just bought the green micarta version for $48.99. Civivi hit an absolute home run with this knife and for $41.99. It's a grand slam! If you're reading this review and thinking about buying it, buy it and buy it right now. It won't be long before this knife is gone and you will be shocked at how good this knife is for the price.

Classy modern 110
Brian R. on Sep 18, 2023

This is a great little knife. Nevermind the extremely fine hollow grind and now-expected sharpness, this is a modern take on a classic hunter, very 110-ish. The purple and carbon fiber look great together, the nitro-v is a decently tough steel which will help with the extremely fine edge, and the top flipper works! Like, it works well. Lighter style or index finger pull, both work great. It is washer pivot, so it doesn't fly open like bearings, but somehow that makes it better, more of a classic feel. I love it.
