I don't have high hopes for the blade holding an edge overly long, but it arrived sharp, and this isn't exactly the knife you're likely to reach for as a hard user anyway.
It's also a heavy monster at about 7 oz. (with no milling out inside the copper scales), but again, this isn't likely to be your EDC. The action arrived a little tight, but some loosening of the pivot and a little oil to the bearings restored it to the snap-open/drop-shot action of most Baklashes.
All in all, this is a beautiful and well-made knife at a steal of a price. Get one if you can.
