This Bullmastiff has a black G-10 handle with carbon fiber overlays.
The CIVIVI Bullmastiff is named for the dog breed, a burly cross between an English Bulldog and a Mastiff. Originally bred to defend estates from intruders, the Bullmastiff is a large, solid, disciplined dog. The CIVIVI Bullmastiff, just like it's namesake, is tough and dependable. It's made with a thick Damascus blade and a G-10, carbon fiber handle. The aggressive cleaver-style blade is weighted toward the tip, ensuring reliable opening with the flipper.

I love looking at this knife. Easy to finger flip as well.
This is a big blade, and very well made. The lockup is solid, right out of the box super shaving sharp. You can use the flipper tab, or grab the fancy fuller to pull the blade open- it opens with a very satisfying "snick". The detents are strong- it will not open by just flinging it to open. Beautiful pattern in the Damascus. The cutting edge of the blade is fairly thin, allowing it to easily cutting cardboard, potatoes or chopping meat. I was able to slash through small hardwood branches much better than a higher end knife with narrower blade because of the large handle and wide blade; it doesn't roll in. your hand for this kind of use. The deep carry pocket clip is nice, but takes getting used to with this knife. The extreme wide part of the blade has caught on my pocket a few times, partially opening the knife. You get a lot of cool features and craftsmanship with this knife- it's both gentleman-ly and manly.
What a beast. I love large folders and this is my favorite. The clever blade is tall and long and fits in the hand. If you like Damascus steel and super smooth action...the mastiff is for you.
