Description

This CIVIVI Elementum features a rosewood handle and a satin finished D2 tool steel blade.

Elementum. The word invokes a sense of the inevitability of nature—the consistent tides, tearing winds, or devouring fire. There is a certain balance that exists in nature. The CIVIVI Elementum is awesome in its own right and succeeds in establishing a natural balance. These elements come condensed, landing between too big and too small, high quality and affordability, plain and extravagant. The resulting knife is modest, ergonomic, and extraordinary functional. It is topped off with a lanyard hole, deep-carry pocket clip, buttery-smooth flipper action, and a liner lock for solid lock up. Treat your pocket to one of the knife world's finest. Pick one up now before they're gone!

Features:
  • D2 blade steel that offers dependable blade strength and edge retention.
  • Rosewood handle scales for a sure grip.
  • A stainless steel clip for secure deep-pocket carry.
  • Caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action.

Beautiful knife, great fidget factor, smooth to touch for worrying. Light weight and very attractive. Fits nicely in the hand. I flip it while I work. Easy 1 handed operation.
Awesome!

My first Elementum and I am very happy with it. The action feels like a spring assisted knife when opened. Material for the wood feels a little gimmicky but that's just nitpicking. Love it!

In my search for the perfect EDC knife, the elementum checks all the boxes. It looks beautiful, is the perfect size for my jeans coin pocket, fit n finish is perfect, flips in and out great, feels great in the hand, non-threatening style, etc.

My only very minor issue is that the flip out is just slightly less smooth than my other WE/Civivi knives, but just barely and has been getting smoother with use.

I actually went to buy the ebony version as well (if you like something, get more than one), but every version sold out by the time I went to get it.

Long story short, buy an elemetum. You will not be disappointed.

I was a little weary of all the hype around the elementum when it first dropped. I kept coming back and staring at this guy and finally pulled the trigger. For a $64 knife- this thing is SICK! Fit and finish are better than some $200+ knives. The rose wood is beautiful, and I love the simplicity of the overall design. The action is so buttery smooth I would bottle it and make lotion if I could. I'm 6'5'' and have some large paws- this knife feels like it was custom made for me. Thanks to BHQ for getting it over so fast! Usually like to buy American made, but I'm happy to spend money on a Chinese product when this level of quality is there.

Seriously it's a good knife. The fit and finish is smooth and clean. The rose wood really pops in the sun light. It is real wood so every scale is going to have its own tone and range of color. The detent has the perfect amount to tension for the flipper action. The deep pocket clip and thin overall width of the knife makes for a very comfortable carry. Awesome daily use knife!

I absolutely love this knife. I'm a big fan of natural looking wood on my knives. The scales are a little darker than shown in the picture. (Google garden walnut, it is the exact same shade).

It has a very snappy action and the fidget factor is high. It also came with a razor edge on it.

The packaging was also very nice. I had a ZT come in with the same shipment and I was much more impressed with the CIVIVI than the ZT...a knife that costs over twice as much.

Overall it is a fantastic knife and for the price in unbeatable. Definitely gonna carry it alot...and for how lightweight it is...it's starting to get into Bugout territory.

This would probably be a five-star knife if I weren't spoiled by my prior Civivis. Example: It has that really nice, snappy Civivi action, but needs to be helped shut (the detent ball drags a lot on the blade) instead of nearly dropping shut like my Baklashes.

It has the same slick hollow grind as the Wyvern, but only came with a so-so working edge, not shaving sharp as I've come to expect from them.

The wood on my clip-side scale is noticeably darker than show side. I actually like this, but would've thought they would try to match scales of similar tone.

Then again, this is a $60 knife, not a custom. And you really do get a lot for your money -- a classy-looking, office-friendly flipper with D2 and real wood. Overall a nice addition to the collection.

UPDATE: This knife is breaking in quite nicely, and has become an addictive fidget flipper. With a touched-up edge, it's currently at the top of my EDC rotation.
