Description:
The CIVIVI Lumi, designed by Justin Lundquist, is a low-key top flipper knife that is perfect for EDC and works great as a classy folder for more refined situations. The blade has an elegant shape and runs on bearings to make flipping it out a treat. It’s the kind of knife that is just unique enough to be interesting, but not so much that it’s difficult to operate. Thanks to its quality materials and built, it will serve you well for years.

This is a tricky knife. It has a certain way to open that may not be intuitive or easy for everyone. For those that are accustomed to front-flippers and willing to practice, this knife will reward you with some fantastic action, pointy sharp blade, and easy to carry shape and weight. This knife has a understated appearance but don't let that fool you, it's a fidget monster. I really enjoy this knife and it has earned a place in my EDC rotation.
I'm a fan of Lundquist's designs and this doesn't disappoint. Takes a few minutes to adjust to using the top flipper but it opens with authority. Very nice EDC for a small knife and looks like it would be good for executive or formal carry. Very pleased with this purchase.
I really love this knife but am not a fan of the style of flipper used to deploy the knife. I had to play with it for a while to loosen then tighten back n forth until I could reliably deploy the blade without blade wiggle from side to side. I finally decided the best way to open was to use my thumb and pretend I was lighting a Bic lighter. If this knife had a traditional flipper tap it would be perfect. But that really my only complaint, otherwise I love the knife.
