Description:
The CRKT Razel Fixed takes from the popularity of the original Razel and comes in a rough-and-tough fixed blade version. One look and you'll be ready to tackle anything. Sharp D2 steel supplies a heavy-duty blade that also has excellent edge retention. Small but fierce! This sharp CRKT blade can take on huge jobs even though it doesn't take up much real estate. A full tang promises extra power.
Once you have your killer fixed blade, take a look at a companion pocket knife for your everyday carry needs.
Exactly what I wanted in a Graham Razel! Perfect blade shape, blade steel, construction, handle material, and price!
Just got mine yesterday and it is super cool. Great handle. Great sheath. If this knife had a drop point blade and the sheath was ambidextrous CRKT would have a grand slam EDC fixed blade.
As excited about this knife as I was I have to be honest, I'm not in love with it at all. The Razel seemed like it would be the perfect edc for my job. I just can't understand why crkt would make such a useful blade shape and then give you a handle that you can get a full grip. It's so awkward to hold I don't want to use it all. The sheath is ok but as the other reviewer stated the handle is too short so you can't pull it out of the sheath with one hand. I want this knife but I want a handle not made for a child.
Handle is small. For a work knife I want a full grip. The worst part is the sheath though. The knife is so deep you can't use a thumb to dislodge it. I really can't understand the thinking on this other than so obsession with safety. I wanted a fixed blade with this shape but this knife fails on the details.
