The CRKT KatanaX, designed by Darriel Caston from D Rocket Designs, is a small, discreet, sharp blade that's ideal for a neck knife or to attach to a keychain. Once you work out the initial tightness, blade deployment and retraction with one hand is a breeze. The textured handle makes a secure grip easy, and the button slide lock keeps the blade steady while you work. Also, the 1/3 stop is a great feature when you just need a fraction of the blade to do a quick job. A convenient knife for those usually non-knife people, who need a tool to open boxes and cut twine, and a backup cutter for the rest of us.
