Although a very hesitant 5 star, the Hollow point is a great knife. Great sharp blade right out of the box, which is to be expected with CRKT. Very aesthetically pleasing blade shape, deep-ish pocket clip, ergonomic handle that fits well in the hand, and a secure lockup and retention.
If I could mention a couple things that hold this blade back, it would be that the scales feel quite cheap, and if you tighten the pivot to the point where there is zero blade play, the action becomes not as smooth as I would expect with ball bearings. Nothing a little lube can't fix. Otherwise great knife, and one of my favorite EDCs. 87/100

I picked the knife up at Walmart. I guess it was a impose buy, but I'm glad I bought it. The blade was super sharp and snaps into action. has a two position deep carry clip. I like the classic look, reminds me of a Case knife. I paid less than $60 bucks and it handles ever bit like the more expensive offerings. I plan on getting the smaller version. Down side is it's heavy at almost 6 oz.
Cool classic looking knife

I bought this as a gift for a buddy of mine. Pretty darn impressed. I will say that reading the description didn't prepare me for the size of the knife. It reminds me of the old Buck lock back knives from when I was a kid. Big pocket knife, but not too big. I like it's classic looking style, but with fast flipping action and great lockup. Pity that I am giving it away, but I know my friend will love it. It does definitely weigh a couple ounces, but it makes the knife feel un-fragile. CRKT did a nice job for Ruger! --P.S. I am a big fan of this hollow ground blade. Looks gorgeous. (Seems like everyone does flat grinds anymore.)
I really enjoy

I love carrying this knife. I think it is a really nice looking blade, coupled with the fact that it's sooo smooth. It has a flipper to open, as well as thumb studs. I carry it as often as I can. It competes for time in pocket with my 940 and Paramilitary 2.
