The Scribe from CRKT is a small, pocket fixed blade knife built for everyday carry. The handle has a pocket clip on it, taking no extra room from a folder. This CRKT fixed blade has a sheath that fits flush with the handle, giving it a uniform and low-profile appearance.

I was impressed right off the bat with how solid this little knife is. And right out of the box was crazy sharp. The position of the pocket clip makes it easy to pull it out of the pocket (I know that's a problem with cap knives.) The only reason I put a four star was for the fact that this thing is WAY smaller than it looks. But I guess that's what people want when they buy it, so no big deal.
I'm historically a huge fan of CRKT, and was mega excited for this product. The first hour of ownership was even more exciting- it was smaller and slimmer than I had anticipated, and built more solidly, too. That is until I went to tighten the pocket clip screws, as the clip was moving around under a very small amount of force. The slightest rotation of the leftmost screw to tighten down the clip caused a large piece of the 'molded GRN' to instantly crack and chip off on the backside of the handle. I was pretty astonished and ultimately disappointed, given the initial hype and how great my experience with CRKT has been so far. I'd honestly buy another and just not mess with the screws if I knew with certainty that the pocket clip would stay in place. Unfortunate that there's no other knife similar to this in stature & style on the market (that I can find). Sigh.
