The CRKT Symmetry, designed by Richard Rogers, is a compact EDC knife with an addictively fidgety front flipper action. The knife doesn't lock, it has dual détente balls that secure it both open and closed. The handle is made from milled stainless steel, and features a textured GRN overlay.Features:
I bought the Symmetry for traveling to areas with restrictive knife laws as the length and lack of a lock won't offend pretty much anywhere. Turns out, I like it very much and will now be using it as my "Casual Day EDC." I carry a CRKT CEO most days, but on Fridays my favorite Benchmade gets "easy there, Rambo!" comments when I pull it out.The Symmetry is nice-handling and looks less aggressive. The design has a good grip design to keep it from closing accidentally, so I don't mind the lack of a lock. It's also a great fidget knife!
Ultra sharp blade from the box. Stiff action from the box: I took it apart and applied knife oil. Actuated it many times over a week or two...then yes it was very smooth! Very light. Very slim. LOVE the blue anodized screws and clip. Give Richard Rodgers another win!
I bought this one along with some other knives with my order. Price wasn’t bad my only thing is no liner lock but not a deal breaker. My wife seen it and liked the color trim so I gave her the Symmetry. When something needs to be opened at work she’s the first one with her pocket knife on the ready.
