Just Get One
John H. on Jan 20, 2018

I can't recommend this knife enough. For anyone looking to get into traditional style folders, if you were to only buy one this should be it. The blade came nice and sharp, opens very smooth and with an excellent snap. The fit and finish on mine is perfect, no gaps between the scales and the bolsters or between the liners and the back spring. The ergonomics on it are surprisingly well thought out. When either blade is open and the other closed the closed blade forms a nice little choil for your index finger to rest, making this the most comfortable multiple - blade knife to hold and really use that I've ever had. And it's at a great price point! You just can't beat a 100 year old design.

Not the size they used to be.

Bought this knife from amazon, a couple years ago cause the descriptions I read made the knife sound larger than it is. The canoe style used to be almost as big as a sodbuster; lengthwise, but they're small know, for those who are thinking about getting one under the assumption it's the same size as the older models. But it's good quality though.
