Cold Steel's version of the Axe Gang Hatchet is an authentically formidable weapon, not just a prop for the cameras. For years, Cold Steel has tried to bring to market a devastating Chinese-styled hatchet like those used with such awesome effect in countless Kung Fu movies.
The Axe Gang Hatchet features a drop-forged head, with a differential heat treatment (hard edge-soft body), and a straight, four inch cutting edge (with sharp corners). Due to its substantial weight and straight handle, it's easy to throw with great accuracy and is sure to explode any target with the most violent effect. In addition to that it has a straight grain American Hickory handle with the Kanji characters that mean "Axe Gang".
Purchased 2 of theses being a fan of Kung Fu Hustle. At that price, I didn't expect good quality or craftsmanship. Boy was I surprised! These are legit. Just like the photo and description. I am getting custom handmade leather sheaths made for them now. Was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to take em in the wild. If you are thinking about getting these, do it! You won't be disappointed.
One of the best axes on the walking dead
This is the axe Rick Grimes is using in TWD seasons 6 7 and 8. This is a must have for all you TWD fans out there. Worth the money. Arrived on time, very sharp, very solid, very well made, and no problems with it at all. Cold Steel at it's best. The handle can be cut down to make it look like Rick's. I'm a fan of TWD that's why I got this. I'm satisfied with my purchase no complaints here. I recommend it. TWD fans you gotta have this! Not today not tomorrow. You won't be disappointed.
