The Cold Steel Kiridashi takes the centuries-old proven design of the traditional Japanese utility blade and gives the Cold Steel treatment of super tough overbuilt quality, and makes it a folder! It's built with a tough Girvory handle that won't budge, no matter what you do to it. The blade is made of 4034SS steel.

Could be called Mini-Sax. Blade paper-slicing out of the box. Action a bit stiff, smooths with use. Strong Tri-Ad lock. Spring action prevents accidental opening. Not quite a sheepsfoot, but in emergency could cut seatbelt or clothing. Plastic clip not as strong as steel but won't scratch car paint. Cold Steel is McD's of knives. You won't get filet mignon, but you'll get a burger & fries at a fair price.
Pros: Strong lock, easy to open and close, secure grip for all hand sizes. Cons: Steel will require touch up.
Its like carrying a 21/2 inch bladed utility knife in your pocket. It can be used for cutting thick cardboard down to fine detailing of the most delicate material. This knife is light weight and strong with a solid lock up without any blade play at all. Nice job Cold Steel!!
