Comes in a set of 3 throwing stars.

Everyone likes throwing knives! The simple sport of throwing a knife is fun. And no sound is more satisfying then a thrown knife as it “thunks” and sticks a wooden target. Whether you’re skilled at knife throwing or are just starting out, you know there’s also no fun in missing the target.

One solution is the Shuriken or throwing star. Used for centuries in China and Japan, it consists of no more than a flat piece of steel with 3 or more points. If you throw it overhand like a baseball, side arm, underarm or back hand like a flying saucer, it hits on at least one point every time.

Cold Steel's Sure Strike star is unlike the cheap, shoddy throwing stars you see at flea markets, guns shows, and in martial arts magazines. It’s made of extra thick, laser cut high carbon steel that’s been heat treated to a hard spring temper and is protected by a black, baked-on, epoxy finish. It’s fully sharpened and will stick every time.

Nice but not the best

These have a nice weight to it. But after a lot of throws they get dull and sometimes out of the box, they don't stick well. But for its price I think it's worth it. If you want really high quality, I recommend getting the condor senban. I'm considering getting the lights to compare.
Too Brittle

I own 4 sets of the Light Sure Strikes and have had no issues with durability. In less than 10 throws of the medium sure strike, into the same target used for the lights, two of the points broke off. The reason is simple, the medium has a more aggressive angle at each edge coming to a much thinner section of metal at the point than the light sure strikes. I do not recommend this product. BladeHQ deferred to Cold Steel. Cold Steel has been unresponsive to date.
Not terrible.

OK, out of the box, this guy is dangerous. Because it's so dull.

I had to take a file to it to actually give it decent points. Unless you really chuck it, it will bounce off of corrugated cardboard.

I want to throw it more like a dart; ie: with less strength, and more finesse.

All that said, It is nice and heavy and seems solid / well made. Just watch out...It might bounce randomly instead of sticking.
These are worthless

I bought three and one broke after 3 throws and I have to pay my own shipping for warranty b.s and these dont stick as consistently as the lights or battlestars.
stick great

The medium Sure Strike is an excellent weight, thicker than the easy stack "lights" but goes further more controllably. The medium are great for range with less weight than the heavy.
