Cold Steel's goal in creating the Pro Lite series was to provide a heavy duty folding knife with Cold Steel's superior strength and durability at an affordable price. Designed with famed knife-maker Andrew Demko, the Pro Lite sports a 4116 German stainless cryo quenched blade. The knife has a high satin polished finish and a sporty drop point profile. The handle is made from textured glass-filled nylon with a tough Tri-Ad locking mechanism. Get all the Cold Steel quality you can handle at an affordable price with the Pro Lite Sport folding knife.

This Knife is The strongest full size budget knife!!!
This knife is very light and the Tri-Ad lock gives it unbelievable strength. No frills, just a tough little workhorse. I cannot imagine a knife from any other maker that outperforms this one at this price point. I have several expensive knives and I find myself going to this one more and more for work/EDC. No regrets whatsoever.
I don't have the budget for a folder in the hundreds of dollars. And I was getting tired of the bulk and inability to hold an edge of my previous EDC. This Cold Steel blade is legit and I love the back lock. There is no wiggle on this knife at all. The Pro Lite is just that. Very light and has a thinner profile. I wish I had bought spear or a drop point as the Tonto is great for a tactical carry, but I work in an office... Oh well, next knife I guess.
Tough, capable and reliable. All of the qualities that you expect from Cold Steel at a price that will make you want to buy 4 or 5 of them because you know this good of a deal won't be around forever. And if you've never owned a Cold Steel before, get this entry level folder and put it to work to see why their quality is top notch.
I have had this knife for a week now and I love it. I needed a beater for work that was sturdy but not to expensive and this is it. I see a lot of people saying the Tri-Ad Lock makes it harder to open and close which it does but I like that, lets me know it nice and sturdy for any job I need it for. For the price you can't go wrong.
I was really suprised at this knife. For the price I was expecting just an ok knife but this thing is great. The lockup is solid without any play in the blade and I have heavily used mine in many cutting tasks. The title calls it lite and in that respect it truely is. Easily the lightest pocket knife I own. Sharp out of the box and holds its edge well, easy enough to sharpen too. Only cons I can think of is the thumb grooves on the back of the blade do not really grip your thumb well, the grip in general is kind of smooth and the bkade is a little stiff folding out (but that should ease with use and rem oil). I plan on purchasing many more of these as gifts, cant beat the quality at the price of these folders.
For the price. Great quality. Great feel. Super light. One of my favorites
Lite, Sharp, tri ad lock, Cold Steel at this price. Get real, get one or five. Can't go wrong.
I was working and I had to pry up some boards, and didn't have a prybar with me so I grabbed this thing and it didn't even bend, or wiggle after. I realize this knife abuse but it's a beater for 20 bucks, totally worth every dollar.
Cold Steel Pro Lite: What a neat knife. Light enough to disappear in your pocket, built tough enough to survive getting ran over (probably). In typical Cold Steel fashion, everything about this knife is well made. Pocket clip, tanto blade, and handle. The handle feels good and positive in your hand. Fun little knife, yet the only thing holding it back from becoming great, is how stiff the action is. If you want to open it, you got to mean it. Probably due to the legendary tri-ad locking system, but I really wish I could deploy this knife a little faster. Still a good, sharp knife though. 77/100
I bought this as a "beater" knife so I could save my nicer knives from harm. I got it on sale for $22 so its not too bad for the price. I like the knife overall. It has a rugged feel to it like it could take a lot of abuse and it has. I have hammered it into wood, pryed with the tip, cut plexiglass, and much more with this knife and it still just fine. The only issues I had with this knife were that the thumb stud was hard to access because of the handle and the lock was placed too far back for easy one handed closing. I have now fixed both issues with razor blade, some sandpaper, and a dremel.
