I bought this knife to replace my pack knife. I had the engraving done and still received it super fast. I can't wait to get back in the woods to break her in.
One of my best “Blackout Blades” strong for outdoor/camping/hunting tasks. GREAT PRICE and quality for sure! My cousin had this knife years ago and would never sell it to me when I came across this website with this one on here I pulled the trigger. If you like tantos you need to pick this one up!
Had mine for about 8 months. Use it around my property for bushwackin, and goofing off in woods. Sharpens easily and stays sharp OK. Sheath is great. Not gonna kill this thing. Restart civilization with it if you needed to. 40 bux is a steal.
Literally saved my life and several others while deployed. Good for its intended use. Enough said.
What? This is a fighting knife, isn't it? It is designed for fighting but the blade length, geometry, and thickness lend themselves out to be my favorite lightweight kinetic task knife, my whole blade setup comes in under a pound. I have my companion blade for most of my work and the Recon Tanto for anything that requires shock-work. It does ok for hacking and chopping if you choke down on it, but be sure to wear gloves as it's rough on your hands (and a loop through the lanyard hole for safety). For batoning, it is a dream to work with considering the small weight tax you're paying, the edge is incisive and the thick spine helps in splitting wood quickly but it truly shines thanks to its length. The steel has been tough but hasn't held a very good edge, though thankfully it's easy to sharpen. All in all, it's a wonderful lightweight beater knife.
Awesome knife and a steal for the price. Shaving sharp out of the box, nicely balanced being just a little heavier towards the business end. Sheath is dope and handle material is comfortable. Only complaint is that I wish the handle had a little more beef to it otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
