The Deluxe Sharpening System is a great, easy to use sharpener. It features two aluma ceramic rods, a hand guard and a 9-3/8" base. Place hand guard and rods in holes and follow the included instructions to restore a dull edge to a respectable sharp edge. An average of 10-15 strokes on each side of the blade is all it takes to restore a sharp edge.
