The Friction Folders from Deviant Blades are affordable custom knives that are designed to be legal to carry in places with stringent knife laws. The blade is non-locking. The blade has an extended tang that when in the open position is "locked" in place with the thumb on the spine. Friction at the pivot keeps the blade in the closed position.

The Curly folder has a unique blade shape with a recurve belly and slight hawkbill tip. The blade is camo Gun-Kote finished A2 steel and features a thumb hole, licensed by Spyderco, as well as thumb notches on the spine. The handle is contoured coyote brown G10 slabs.

Filip De Leeuw is the man behind Deviant Blades. He started making knives in 2003 and hasn't stopped. His custom knives have great style and build quality.
