The Emerson CQC-14-BT Snubby Tactical Knife is a knife that packs a heavyweight punch. The blade is under 3 inches long - way under 3 inches. So now, no one can argue whether it is legal or not. Yes, it has a full size handle, so you know you have got a real knife in your hand. This is the ultimate pocket protector. This tactical knife is going to be the industries most influential knife, so pick one up now.

The CQC-14 series features Emerson's Patented "Wave opening feature" or Remote Pocket Opener. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket.

Design is flawed, but the idea is neat.

BladeHQ is a great company I love them, as a person who works in the security industry I frequent their site and others to gather info on great gear. Plus I am a big fan of Knives, i mean that's why we are all here.

So to make it short, the blade is too small and light to wave open and to make the lock secure 100% of the time, the scales are so rough you can fashion a shiv with them. A shiv that will probably last longer than the titanium liner because of the major lock stick and aggression you have to put into it when you disengage it. Overall ya boy is very disappointed.

Also it is so over priced I want to buy two ZT's and Laugh at Ernie while receiving them in the mail.
