There's no getting around the fact that the Gypsy Jack in black is a departure from the typical Emerson style; although, if you get past the slender handle profile and blade neck you'll see this is an Emerson knife through-and-through. It utilizes the familiar peel-ply black G-10 handle scales over a titanium/stainless steel frame and the blade features the Emerson Wave-Opener along with a thumb disc for more traditional one-hand opening.
