This Model 1929 has a carbon fiber handle.
The Finch Knives Model 1929 is a throwback to the kind of knives your grandpa carried, but built with modern mechanisms and materials. The blade is made from flat-ground 154CM stainless steel that can handle hard use. The handle has a shield inlay much like a traditional knives, and satin finished bolsters as well. On the back side, the bolster forms a frame lock. This Barlow-esque knife is sure to be the star of your collection!
Perfect fit & finish, fantastic steel, excellent grind & razor sharp (really). Flips effortlessy, framelock is robust & secure. Wonderful combination of modern features and traditional design. Only weirdness is the seemingly useless jimping on the wrong side of the quillion. Would be much better on the spine of the blade.
