The Fox Felin was created for the French RAID team, a specialized counter-terrorism unit in France, and the BRI team, an anti-gang unit. The RAID team's insignia is a panther, and the BRI team's is a tiger, hence the name of the knife, Felin, which is French for "feline". The Felin's blade features a large thumb ramp with jimping. The handle is constructed of smooth G-10, with the tang of the knife doubling as a striking pommel. It includes a kydex sheath for multiple mounting options.
This thing is a beauty. Fits perfect in hand i never want to let go. I own a lot of Fox knives now and each one is just immaculate in terms of fit and finish. This simply has the best ergonomics of any knife i have ever handled. This steel is one of my favorites for actual use. The sheath is a thing of simplistic beauty. It comes with 2 vertical straps allowing you to affix this anywhere to anything. This is an entire package of utter perfection, i feel like a kid on christmas and im a 30 year old electrician. If you handed this to me and told me it was $400 bucks I'd believe you and ask for a link to buy it. Fox makes stealth sleeper beasts and they rarely get the credit they deserve. Phenomenal knife.
