This Blade HQ exclusive Fox Knives Chilin F8 has a Bohler M398 blade!
Description:
The Chilin F8 is a quintessential EDC knife. Fox Knives capitalized on the premium materials used in this design to craft a knife that rarely requires sharpening, weighs next to nothing, and looks good all the while. Bohler M398 steel provides excellent edge retention and rust resistance for low-maintenance upkeep. The ultralight handle materials and skeletonized liners give you all the structure you need without weighing you down. And finally, the F8 feels amazing in hand, with all the right contours in all the right places. As far as everyday knives go, this may well be one of the best!
Fox Knives is one in a long line of Italian knifemakers who are changing the game. Check out our selection of modern Italian knives!
I love this knife. The blade shape; size; ergonomics; micarta; craftsmanship; and overall feel are all outstanding. It's not a negative, but the only comment I have is that I own a Vosteed Nightshade (came out before this) and the Chilin's design is VERY much like the Nightshade except it's not a flipper.
Bought this as soon as I saw the blade shape and M398 to boot. I gutted and skinned 3 deer with it today. It is still shave sharp. Ball bearings make for a smooth action. Bonus ceramic detent ball makes it smooth as glass. Highly recommend. This is my new EDC.
