GEC Jumbo Stockpen Jack
The GEC Jumbo Stockpen Jack is a time-honored American pattern built the way traditional pocketknives have been for generations. Made in the USA by Great Eastern Cutlery, this classic slip joint pairs straightforward utility with old-world craftsmanship.
At its core are two hardworking blades—a long clip point main blade and a versatile pen blade—both ground from 1095 high-carbon steel. Known for its excellent edge retention and ease of sharpening, 1095 develops a natural patina over time, giving each knife a look that’s uniquely its own. Traditional nail nick openers and smooth non-locking slip joint action provide that familiar, old-school feel with controlled, confident blade movement.
As its name suggests, the Jumbo Stockpen Jack is a larger take on the classic stockpen pattern, offering more blade presence and grip while staying true to its roots. Like other GEC traditionals, it’s typically finished with brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, and carefully fitted handle scales (material varies by run), all assembled with the tight tolerances the brand is known for.
